Great to be Eight!

So... this happened in 2015, but it is so important and I needed to write about it. Malachi took a huge step and made the decision to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

Malachi, you prepared for your baptism for almost a year. You memorized your Articles of Faith, and learned about what baptism was. You had a great interview with the bishop, and you were so excited!!

Mommy prepared for your baptism for nearly a year as well. She made the program, got the decorations ready, and she had it all planned out for you... sparing no detail. She wanted it to be a very special day for you. All I had to to was show up, and baptize you, which I was very proud to do.

Both sets of your grandparents were there. Your papa John and papa Fili were the two witnesses for your baptism.

It was such a special day, and one that I hope you remember for the rest of your life. Always be true to the covenants you made that day, and remember who you are. We love you and are very proud of you.
